Hooked on Zines

I’m really loving making zines these days. It started a couple years ago when I made a photo zine for our family Christmas cards. I made about ten for our immediate family. A while ago I made a zine about improv, and now another photo zine focusing on my weird photos from the sprocket rocket camera. 

I’m thinking of a hand drawn, then scanned and printed style next.

Topics on the top of my mind…

• 12 Principles of Animation
• The Noble eight-fold path of Buddhism
• A book summary of sorts for The Lies of Locke Lamora

There’s something wonderful about analog drawing, folding and cutting paper and putting a thing into peoples hands to share one’s interests, with no ulterior motive. Here’s a weird thing I made that you might like. 

That’s appealing to me in this age of digital & AI everything.
